SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The CEZinc Processing Facility has been an integral part of the community of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield for more than 40 years. Through its generous contributions, the Processing Facility and its employees are committed to improving the quality of life for the local community.

CEZinc believes its activities should contribute to the well-being of the community. In addition to contributing to the region’s economy, CEZinc supports several organizations involved in community and social development, health, environment, job creation, art and culture, and education and sports.

CEZinc also supports several employees who donate their time by volunteering as board members of many community organizations, and help organize different activities for the community and its employees.

Environment

Today, it comprises 15 members – ten of whom represent various stakeholders in the community, while the other five represent industrial "neighbours" of the Processing Facility, such as industries, institutions, as well as agriculture and ordinary citizens.
